1999 Season
I play better when it's a little colder and much wetter.....But
the waa - waa's had a little something up their sleeves when they showed
up at West Branch. It seems they left empty bottles of Palmolive
dish soap all over the course, wreaking havoc for the rest of us on the
putting green..... slippery little putts!
The Long Game
Gomez is consistent
off the tee and into the green. All balls hit into tree's
will mysteriously be thrown back into the middle of the fairway or green, and when in
trouble, the ball usually is chipped into cup. Chalk one up for Mr. Lucky.
The Short Game
Mr. Lucky comes to play! Usually hit 500-600 practice chip shots before each
round and putts 5-6 hours before each round with no real improvement.
What about the
"Enemies" ?
Has caused discomfort to the "waa-waa" club, with refusal to change team
selection format. "A few select waa-waa's, will not disrupt the challenge and
prestige of the GNYS". "A cup in the hand, from two with a bush, has to be
embarrasing to all other Yoots".
