2005 Course Information

The Gailes at Lakewood Shores
Lakewood Shores Resort brings
together three unique golf experiences not found anywhere
else in Northern Michigan. Whether it's the feel of
the famed seaside courses in Scotland on The Gailes, the
rugged classical Pine Valley C.C. feel of the Blackshire
course, or the parkland layout of the Serradella bursting

Serradella Course
The practice round will
take place on the Serradella course.
The Serradella, designed by Bruce Mathews, offers the
perfect resort course to complement the other championship
designs. The Serradella is a classic parkland design
with minimal hazards, wide fairways & large
greens. With over 60,000 annuals and perennials
arranged and showcased throughout the course and resort,
the floral gardens will take your breath away. |

Blackshire Course
The first round of the 2005 Yoot Shoot will
take place on the Blackshire course.
The newest course at Lakewood Shores, designed by Kevin
Aldridge, continues the tradition of giving golfers a
unique golfing experience. Designed to recreate the
look and feel of the famous Pine Valley GC., it offers a
similar rugged feel with hardwoods, large waste sand
areas, and undulating greens.

The Gailes
The final round of the 2005 Yoot
Shoot will be played on The Gailes.
Also designed by Kevin Aldridge, The Gailes recreates the
look and feel of the famed seaside courses in
Scotland. Rated the #1 Best New Resort Course in
1993 by Golf Digest, The Gailes will fulfill all of your
expectations of a seaside experience. Golfers will
face large double greens, meandering burns, sod-faced pot
bunkers and long fescue grasses.
